Lockheed Martin Space in Kings Bay, GA is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer - Entry Level. In this role, you will provide engineering support for the maintenance and operation of Cable Manufacturing and Test Equipment systems required to support processing of the D5 weapon system at SWFLANT in Kings Bay, Georgia. The job functions include engineering support and technical guidance associated with the design, modification, maintenance, testing, and review of test equipment consoles and the automatic wire routing robotic system. The candidate will evaluate equipment failures and generate written disposition to address equipment anomalies utilizing engineering principles and discipline.

The job functions will also include engineering technical investigations to enhance reliability and operating effectiveness of the consoles and robotic system. The candidate will participate in the installation, maintenance, and checkout of required console and robotic equipment and software. The candidate will monitor failure documents on a periodic basis and evaluate discrepancies for corrective actions. The candidate will act as a proofing director during proofing events to test and redline procedures. The candidate will initiate and participate in Failure Review Board activities as required. The candidate will also provide support of troubleshooting, maintenance, and alterations of auxiliary systems associated with the position.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. Candidate cannot be a dual citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated competency in troubleshooting electrical system.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Experience with design and design concepts of industrial electrical and/or electronic systems.
• Basic knowledge and experience with analog electronics, digital electronics, and associated practical applications.
• Basic circuit design skills with hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with CNC programming (FANUC controller preferred).
• Familiarity with robotics system operation.
• Knowledge of JAVA, C, and/or C++ programming languages.
• Familiarization with test and data collection instruments.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• Demonstrated effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work around ordnance.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
