Description:
You will be the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Test Engineer for the Close Combat Systems (CCS) Line-of-Business, supporting Production Test Equipment and Test Software activities in the Micro Electronic Center (MEC) in Orlando, Florida. Our team is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of test systems, and you will play a key role in providing technical support, test equipment improvements, and troubleshooting expertise.

What You Will Be Doing
As the ATE Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting test systems, providing technical expertise, and driving improvements to test equipment and software. You will work with a range of technologies, including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, and CVI®, to control signal generation and measurement tools, and conduct Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Radio Frequency (RF) testing, and functional testing.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing Test Systems support in the Micro Electronic Center (MEC)
• Upgrading test equipment hardware and software as needed
• Analyzing failures associated with test equipment and providing recommended solutions
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving test equipment issues
• Collaborating with production teams to maintain test equipment uptime and support troubleshooting

This position requires the ability to travel (up to 20%) to Ocala and Archbald Production sites as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related and 5 years of professional experience (or 3 years with a Masters), or equivalent professional experience
• Radio Frequency (RF) testing and troubleshooting experience
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting electronics test equipment
• Interim Secret required to start
Desired Skills:
• Proficient with National Instruments Test Software Suites including TestStand®, LabVIEW®, CVI®.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
