Description

The LPDH Testing Group currently has an opening for an experienced Test Engineer to support the electronic military health record. This is an exciting opportunity to use your prior test experience for the Department of Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM®) Program. In this role, you will join a matrix test team of Leidos and contractor personnel in support of the DOD military health system MHS GENESIS. MHS GENESIS provides both Oracle Health Millennium clinical software and Henry Schein One Dentrix Enterprise dental software solutions at military treatment facilities.

The experienced Test Engineer will support sustainment and migration activities for the Military Health System (MHS) GENESIS system as it is modernized in the cloud. MHS GENESIS is a multi-cloud capability, including but not limited to OCI, AWS, Azure and other Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) that support DoD/DISA cybersecurity standards and the OCI / Test Engineer will work closely with the engineering team, as well as large subcontractor partners, throughout various work efforts/task orders.  The selected candidate will focus on the OCI migration and verify that the MHS GENESIS solutions have migrated successfully. The test effort requires a strong understanding of system diagrams and the new cloud boundaries to verify that the test results properly align in the new environment. Testing includes verification of the test and production data migration as well and requires a keen ability to verify the System Under Test in multiple test environments. Ability to provide schedule updates, create test plans and test cases, execute to the plan, and document detailed defects are required.

The ideal candidates for this role will use their testing experience to analyze system requirements and capability acceptance criteria. The effort focuses on configuration of Electronic Health Record (EHR) for hospitals and clinics. The candidates must be self-starters, responsible, and able to adjust to different assignments to support DHMSM testing during the phased LPDH test events. The candidates are expected to dove-tail their work with fellow team members, the LPDH Engineering Testing group that supports DHMSM test efforts, and the government test team members when needed. Candidates must be comfortable with virtual and physical “over-the-shoulder” demonstrations to the government testers and other stakeholders.

The following list provides the basics of the primary responsibilities:

  • Prepare testing status input for gate reviews (e.g., Test Readiness Review).
