4114 Cybersecurity Lead

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Cybersecurity Lead to take primary responsibility for the oversight, administration, and execution of all projects and initiatives related to Cyber Network Defense (CND), risk management, and the continuous management of our security tools, applications, and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively lead projects, manage security infrastructure, and contribute to a robust security posture.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Take the lead on all cybersecurity-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational security goals.
• Monitor and administer security tools, applications, and systems to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness.
• Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures for CND and risk management.
• Contribute to the continuous management and improvement of the organization's security infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security considerations into projects and initiatives.
• Identify and analyze potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other security team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles with increasing responsibility.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification is required.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cybersecurity projects and initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge of security tools, applications, and systems.
• Proven ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

CLEARANCE:

• TS/SCI minimum with willingness to sit for a CI Polygraph
