SYSTEMTEC is seeking a WLAN Engineer with at least 5 years of experience working in large enterprise network environments. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. Candidates must also live within a commutable distance to Columbia, SC or Washington, DC as the position will require 4 days onsite/month.
Required Qualifications of the WLAN Engineer:
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
5+ years of experience as a WLAN Engineer.
Experience with Cisco Aruba.
Experience designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco switches.
DNS, HCP, IP subnetting, addressing, and Variable Length Subnet Masks.
Understanding of SSL certificates.
Utilization of Windows 201x and Linux servers.
Government security settings.
Responsibilities of the WLAN Engineer:
Provide Tier 3 support for wireless devices including hand-held devices, and LAN and WAN connectivity.
Documentation of installed networks to include systems design, operations, and implementation guides.
Maintain security and integrity of all wireless hardware and software.
Monitor Guest registration web portal (Aruba ClearPass)
Configure and test QoS for voice & video.
Monitor Aruba Airwave systems.
Work Location: Onsite 4 times/month in Columbia, SC or Washington, DC
