Information Security Risk Specialist
The Opportunity:
Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to the global enterprise, and government agencies. In all of this "cyber noise," how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you. We need your knowledge as an information security risk spe cia list to help break down complex threats into manage able plans of action.
As an information security risk spe cia list on our team, you'll work with specific enterprises, and military leaders to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies , and develop a mitigation plan. You'll get technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs, and engineers to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you'll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
You'll work on translating security concepts for your client so they can make the best decisions to secure their intellectual property, critical infrastructure, and mission-critical systems. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with Navy RMF, following both NAO and FAO requirements
- Experience as an Information Systems Security Manager, Information Systems Security Engineer, Information Systems Security Officer, RMF Support Analyst, or Information Security Risk Spe cia list
- Experience assisting with the development of supporting artifacts for DoD authorization packages, including Categorization Forms, HW / SW Lists, Authorization Boundary Diagrams, and developing test answers for controls
- Experience with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service ( eMASS ) , and eMASSTER
- Experience in utilizing STIG Viewer to check .ckl files and reading Nessus vulnerability reports
- Experience creating and managing POA & Ms and running Navy compliance reports.
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- CGRC / CAP, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, SSCP, or Security+ certification
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in setting up and running ACAS
- Master's degree
- Active Navy Qualified Validator Certification
