Systems Engineer

The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your te chn ical skills with big picture thi nk ing to make an impact in simulation training environments for our United States military. You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission.

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture, information assurance, group policy and account management, virtualization, installation and configuration of applications, system administration and updates, and automation to lead a team of engineers focusing on Network Modernization on an inherited, legacy, infrastructure. Your customer will t rus t you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced te chn ology solutions. On our team, you'll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues on a training environment and analyze current working infrastructures to understand how to make improvements and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Using your te chn ical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience working in a technical environment
  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Experience with Windows operating systems
  • Experience setting up ESXI hosts
  • Experience building complex compute environments
  • Experience in network architecture and infrastructure management
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working in the DoD or military environment
  • Experience with SOF
  • Experience with SATCOM and setting up mesh networks
  • Knowledge of Active Directory IIS
  • Micro sof t Active Directory Administration Certification
  • VMWare Administration Certification
  • CASP+, such as SecurityX, or CISSP Certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
