The Expeditionary Systems Engineering Division (ESED) is a component of Corona Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). ESED performs full spectrum life cycle engineering and test support to verify the safety, reliability, and effectiveness of Expeditionary Warfare systems. The primary function of ESED is to provide In-Service Engineering and Test and Evaluation for the Department of Defense (DoD). As part of this function, ESED conducts test operations at regional Southern California ranges such as Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake and at multiple DoD ranges across the United States. This task sets forth the requirements for technical services related to testing to include test planning, test execution, test support, test operations and associated logistics. These services are in support of a wide variety of systems across their life cycle, which include ESED's main focus areas such as Arms, Ammunition, Explosives, Weapons Systems, and associated platforms utilized by the Expeditionary Warfare community. ESED's secondary focus areas such as Sensors and Communications, Mobility Platforms, Systems Integration, and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment with unique military applications; and other new or existing systems that require independent testing for Expeditionary Warfare.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Project Coordination Specialist will support the Program Manager in the execution of the Test Operations Support Services contract. That person will provide project planning scheduling and coordination for current and ongoing projects and tasks, technical and administrative support, and data management support at the Fallbrook operating site as well as various test rangeson the Test Operations Support Services (TOSS) contract. This position is located in Fallbrook, CA.

What You'll Do
  • Works closely with Program Manager, Team Leads, and govt POCs.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Source any vendors/materials for upcoming and ongoing projects.
  • Confirm materials and drawings before deliveries are made to site.
  • assist in the planning process as required with any change orders or extras for ongoing projects.
  • Attend any meetings as required by Program Manager, Government client, and internal members.
  • Maintain accurate records related to submittals, cost, RFI's, scheduling, site inspection, etc.
  • Prepare remedial details/repair details as required.
  • Perform site safety walks, promoting and enforcing safe work practices.
  • Work with project team to adhere to provided timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure documentation is maintained throughout and after any projects or tasking.
  • Communicating plans, actions, risks, and issues with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve and present any issues that may arise during a project or tasking.
  • Assist the Program and Inventory Manager with administrative functions and processes, as required.
  • Analyze project data and produce progress reports
  • Bid and proposal support if requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this position.
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Thrive in a busy, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Must possess advanced computer literacy and data entry skills.
  • Intermediate to advance skills with MS Office 365 and Sharepoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Ability to be trained and certified in forklift and other weight handling equipment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must be able to remain seated in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must also be able to alternate between sitting, standing, and walking.
  • The ability to lift items that may weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, or recurring and considerable walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and climbing such as performing regular shop activities, inspections, or to observe and study operations in an industrial or comparable work area or on-board submarines and in weapon facilities.
  • Travel Required ~10% travel required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Desired Qualifications:

  • CAPM certification
  • Experience with coordinating Vendor Agreements and execution of agreements.
  • 5-10 years experience working in RDT&E - type environments
  • Strong familiarity with Safety Data Sheets and Hazmat programs.


INDUS aims to provide a competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is $39.50/hr - 43.50/hr. The pay range for this role considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education and training, and certifications.
