In this role, you'll work hands-on across the full stack - designing, developing, and modernizing system integrations that support business operations and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). You'll also have a direct impact on improving performance, compliance, and the user experience of ServiceNow solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clean, effective technical solutions
- Develop and enhance ServiceNow modules using JavaScript, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and more
- Review and modernize existing integrations to improve reliability and performance
- Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment support
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation
- Ensure solutions align with security standards and platform best practices
- Contribute to other technical and support tasks as needed
You're an experienced, detail-oriented developer who enjoys solving problems and working across multiple technologies. You're a self-starter, a strong communicator, and comfortable in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- OR Associate degree with 6+ years' relevant experience
- OR High school diploma/GED with 8+ years' relevant experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules
- Experience supporting Tier 1-4 Service Desks
- Experience building, testing, and deploying solutions in classified environments and across security domains
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving Priority 1 and 2 issues under tight timelines
- Certifications Required:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ITIL Foundation or Intermediate
- CompTIA Security+
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
- Proficient in JavaScript, REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML
- Exposure to ITOM, ITBM, and CMDB modules
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration practices
- Familiarity with identity and access management (LDAP, SSO, SAML)
- Experience with Discovery, Event Management, and automated testing (ATF)
- Excellent documentation, facilitation, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and remote support tools
