Software Developer

Core4ce seeks a Software Developer to be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining computer systems, software, and networks to meet organizational needs. This role requires expertise in computer design, software development, and network systems, as well as specialized certifications and technical experience in engineering and information assurance. The position supports critical systems and evaluates solutions for C4ISR requirements, virtualization projects, and cybersecurity measures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test computer hardware, software, and network systems.
• Perform system integration and ensure compatibility across various platforms.
• Provide technical support for systems and equipment, including test and evaluation for C4ISR requirements.
• Implement and support virtualization and information assurance/network protection projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop technical documentation and procedures to enhance system usability and compliance.
• Conduct systems analysis and propose improvements based on testing and evaluation results.

Requirements:

• Education:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science.
• ABET accredited program
• Active Secret clearance
• Active US passport
• Certifications:
• Preferred Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM) or Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), or
• Vendor/platform-specific certifications, such as:
• Microsoft role-based certifications (e.g., MCAD, MCDBA).
• Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP).
• CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Administrator).

• Experience:
• Seven 7 years with a Master's degree or 11 years with a Bachelor's degree in computer design, software development, or computer networks.
• Three 3 years of technical experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, Medical Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management, including Systems/Equipment Support and Test and Evaluation for C4ISR requirements.
• One 1 year of technical experience in information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects.
• Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
• Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in system architecture and design frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems or Linux Operating Systems.

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools and practices.

• Ability to document and communicate technical processes effectively.

• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies.
