About the role
We are seeking a creative and driven Summer Marketing Intern to support our corporate marketing and communications team. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in B2G (business-to-government) marketing and contribute to real-world federal IT campaigns and brand initiatives.
As a Marketing Intern, you will support projects across social media, content creation, event promotion, brand strategy, and digital engagement. You'll work closely with the marketing team and leadership to help strengthen the Concept Plus brand across platforms and audiences.

About the role
We are seeking a creative and driven Summer Marketing Intern to support our corporate marketing and communications team. What you'll do
- Assist in developing and scheduling social media content (LinkedIn focus)
- Support event marketing efforts for conferences and networking events
- Create and edit marketing collateral (e.g., one-pagers, slide decks, graphics)
- Conduct market research and assist in competitive analysis
- Help maintain marketing assets and coordinate internal campaigns
- Assist with internal communications and newsletter content
- Support website updates and analytics reporting
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word) and/or Adobe Creative Cloud (a plus)
- Self-starter with attention to detail and a collaborative spirit
- Interest in federal government, technology, or B2G marketing is a plus
- US Citizen
Program Details
- Internship runs from mid-May to mid-August (start/end dates flexible based on your schedule)
- Open to part-time or full-time availability
- Internship is unpaid but offers hands-on experience, executive exposure, and potential academic credit
- This is a hybrid opportunity from our Fairfax, VA based HQ
