This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Maintenance Technician (Food Service) to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team performing maintenance and repair of customer provided food service equipment. This includes providing preventative maintenance on kitchen equipment to keep it running at optimum efficiency and to limit breakdowns. As a maintenance technician for food service, you will also complete performance checks, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, installations and removal of food service equipment. May be on call for 24/7 emergency repair of equipment.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
• Minimum of 5 years of experience repairing food service equipment.
• Must be a US Citizen
• High School Diploma
• Experience with all forms of food service equipment to include refrigerators, ice machines, ovens, fryers, and beverage equipment.
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledge of controls, electricity and machine principles, such as fluid dynamics, heat transfer, thermodynamics, lubrication and sealing.
• Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (e.g. hot, cold, dirty environments).

Desired:

• Certifications related to food service equipment repair and maintenance.
• Technical training through apprenticeship, trade school.

Basic Compensation:

$43,900 - $65,800

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
