This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Lead Custodian to join our team supporting a government client with locations in Washington Metropolitan Area.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the custodial crew at the customer facility providing the following services:

• Disinfecting and sanitizing common areas and high-touch points
• High and low dusting, scrubbing, and polishing
• Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors
• Restocking supplies and inventory
• Emptying and disposing of trash and recycling bins
• Vacuuming, mopping, dust mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing floors
• Cleaning and polishing furniture, fixtures, and elevators
• Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Empty waste containers
• Low and high cleaning
• Perform restroom checks and cleaning
• Clean water fountains
• Clean fitness centers, showers and locker rooms
• Clean elevators
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners
• Maintains custodial equipment in a clean, safe operable condition
• Performs other related work as assigned

As the manager, you will:

• train new employees
• monitor employees to ensure tasks are being completed to standards and that there is efficient use of time.
• coach, mentor and address employee concerns.
• manage schedules, including callouts, vacation, or sick leave requests.
• assist with various reports- such as training, attendance, evaluations, correct time keeping, and accident reports.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
• 5 years of janitorial experience in commercial settings.
• 1 or more years of management / team lead experience.
• Must be a US Citizen
• High School Diploma or GED
• A team player that can provide lear guidance and follow guidance provided by others.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job to include lifting objects, carrying objects and vacuums, extended walking, bending, and reaching over one's head.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
• Ability to pay attention to detail.

Basic Compensation:

$37,000 - $55,500

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
