Details
Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

About The Role
Are you ready to make a significant impact on human spaceflight? Peraton is seeking highly organized and efficient Document Control Specialists (Multiple openings/Multiple levels) to join our team. This role will provide crucial support to senior leadership, program managers, and operational teams, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day program activities.
Examples of duties include but not limited to:
- Processes, distributes, and maintains controlled documentation using a document control system.
- Processes project documents including but not limited to, assigning file codes, scanning documents, and completing the applicable metadata into the applicable document repository, routing and distribution, hard copy document filing and fulfillment of document retrieval requests.
- Processes and maintains project documents and update master copies of drawings/specifications logs/binders and implement document control procedures.
- Collects, maintains, and distributes documents necessary to define product configuration and control technical processes that insure conformance to customer requirements.
- Maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center.
- Collects and maintains files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control technical or manufacturing processes.
- Ensures timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
- Maintains a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
- Performs clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary.
- Performs job in accordance with document control practice.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- BS/BA with 3-9 years exp or MS/MA with 0-2 years exp
- Ability to obtain security clearance (up to TS/SCI) or background investigation as required
- NASA certification related to position as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other productivity tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills
- Maintain high level of confidentiality ethics and integrity
- Proficient writing and communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with NASA or DoD customers
- Previous experience in human spaceflight mission full life cycle activities
Security Clearance:
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance as required. US Citizenship is required to obtain this clearance.
