Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Project Management to work onsite at Linthicum, MD; McLean, VA; Huntsville, AL; Northridge, CA; Roy, UT; Plymouth, MN; or Mesa, AZ. Hybrid schedule will also be considered. The Principal Project Management role is within DS Program Execution. Responsibilities include PM training and IRT facilitation directly supporting the DS Sector operating goals.
This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. The role requires independent decision-making capability to determine the best path to meet sector objectives. Up to 10% travel may be required.

Salary Range: $78,700.00 - $136,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
- Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress
- Manage and track training request across Defense Systems
- Conducting data analytics of training completed by the DS PMX training team
- Collaborate with Sector data analytics team to set up the metric environment and supervise the input of data
- Work directly with DS site teams to coordinate training logistics (facilities, meeting notices, refreshments, etc)
- Tasked with coordinating and facilizing the review of PM PrOPs
- Coordinate with DS communications for notification of updates to the PrOP, available training events, and other PM related activities
- Track updates and data input into tool for Sector Operating Objectives
- Work independently to deliver products and services to the PM community on behalf of the DS PMX leadership team
- Support facilitation of NAR planning activity
- Input of NAR findings to analyze and report common issues/concerns
- Support IPRS Sector lead with analyzing data and track program inputs
- Train to act as DOA for IPRS Sector Lead
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 plus years of experience; or Master's degree with 3 plus years of experience; or PhD with 1 plus year of experience. 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Skillful with Microsoft tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Teams
- Proven success in supporting multiple projects for teams/activities across programs or disciplines.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and self-manage a variety of activities and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees and leadership
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% to support business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- PMP Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance
