Job Description

As a Security Professional - Front Desk in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Front Desk professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will monitor entry points, manage visitor logs, and respond to inquiries, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This is not a driving or armed post. Our team-oriented and people-first culture supports your role in maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

Pay Rate: $39.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist visitors, employees, and contractors at the front desk, following site-specific protocols for identification and access control.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any incidents that occur at the front desk.
  • Communicate with site personnel and management regarding security-related incidents or concerns as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities by following location-specific guidelines and coordinating with appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Active DoD TS‐SCI Clearance is required.
  • Valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
  • Fire Safety Professional (FSP) certification is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
