Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide first-level technical support for end users
- Process and respond to service desk tickets
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Support system access and authentication
- Maintain documentation of support activities
- Coordinate with higher-tier support teams
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Assist with user account management
- Support data backup and recovery processes
- Track and report support metrics
- Maintain security compliance
- Execute standard operating procedures
- Assist with system updates and maintenance
- Provide basic training to end users
Requirements:
- 7+ years of technical support experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Experience with service desk operations
- Knowledge of classified system operations
- Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Knowledge of IT service management
- Understanding of security protocols
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Experience with remote support tools
- Knowledge of network basics
- Strong documentation abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with classified systems
- Understanding of access control procedures
- Knowledge of basic cybersecurity principles
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+)
- Experience with ITIL processes
- Knowledge of government systems
- Familiarity with virtualization
- Experience with Active Directory
- Understanding of PKI infrastructure
- Knowledge of mobile device management
- Experience with VPN technologies
- Background in system administration
- Previous military or government service
- Knowledge of federal security requirements
- Experience with asset management
- Familiarity with change management
- Understanding of incident response
- Experience with classified networks
- Knowledge of compliance requirements
- Proficiency in technical writing
