Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is for a first line leader on the Executive Transport program. They will lead a team of Supply Chain professionals responsible for the selection, placement, and execution of suppliers agreements.
Position Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• More than 3 years' experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management
• More than 3 years' experience leading a team or program
• Strong communication and relational skills and abilities
• Ability to effectively interface with internal senior and executive leaders as well as those externally, including VIP customer focals
• Experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Experience in contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
• Experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
• Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

- Provide oversight to Procurement Plans and Supplier EAC data
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
