Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Program Analyst to join our dynamic team of engineers, technologists, and military veterans. This position will be in Wallops Island, VA working at the U.S. Navy's Surface Combat Systems Center (SCSC). SCSC provides live combat systems suites with platform specific radars and sensors and supports the following functions: combat system lifetime support engineering, platform certification, operational and technical evaluation, combat system training, interoperability testing and participates in at-sea exercises. SCSC provides a high-fidelity representative combat system of every ship in the AEGIS and Ship Self Defense System (SSDS) fleet today and those planned in the future.
The selected candidate is responsible for reading and analyzing data, assist in creating business continuity plans to limit risk, assessing and identifying risk that could impede the reputation, safety, security or financial success of the customer. Program Analysts are expected to facilitate meetings with customers and attend current working groups with several work areas to understand, synthesize and present outcomes and potential risk associated with activation of engineering projects, elements, and the installation of software. Program analysts are expected to provide project management support as part of business portfolio management with Program Leads.

Full-Time Salary Range: $60076 - $102130
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- High School Diploma and least 2 years of relevant experience (equivalent experience may be substituted with a degree)
- Experience advising or conducting management of technical, schedule, projects characteristics or risk
- Proficient in MS Office 365 Suite, particularly in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- The selected individual will be responsible for communicating with and effectively collaborating with internal technical professionals on a day-to-day basis, and with POCs from customer organizations when necessary
- Demonstrated Self-Starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
- Excellent organizational, planning, and follow-up skills
- Must be able to effectively plan and prioritize tasking and communicate clearly regarding technical options and trade-offs
- Must be capable of performing high quality work both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in Project Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Experience with Compliance Assessment, SWOT Analysis and Threat Modeling
- Excellent communication skills; being able to present to leadership as well as to peers
- Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise, simple to understand ways
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to own issues/risk decisions and manage to resolution
- Experience with technical documentation development
- Experience with technical presentations and customer-facing activities
