This position is located in our Madison, Wisconsin office however a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in the human services industry. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, ander will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that business goals and objectives are met through effective project execution. Additional responsibilities include:

Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Facilitate team and client meetings to gather project requirements, track progress, identify risks, and resolve issues.
Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation, including resource allocation and timeline tracking.
Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Ensure smooth communication across all levels of the project, managing expectations and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Oversee testing and quality assurance activities, ensuring the final product meets business requirements and specifications.
Support the project team by providing guidance, removing blockers, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
Provide post-project support as needed, ensuring project objectives are met and clients are satisfied with the results.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing projects, ideally in state government.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written).
Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and the ability to follow through on deliverables.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400- $173,500.
