Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Logistics Technician shall supply logistic services to support the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB).

Responsibilities

  • Comply with the logistics program as stated in Air Force regulations.
  • Oversees and coordinates logistics and tool control compliance within the areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain an inventory of stock instrumentation, control components, and devices at various locations.
  • Accomplish stock inventory in accordance with Air Force regulations.
  • Manage updates, inspect, and maintain the equipment accountability records and inventory.
  • Manage update, inspect, and maintain the RQ equipment accountability (CA/CRL) records/inventory required to meet the objectives of the customer. This involves turn-ins, inventories, data entry, and record-keeping, tracking, and interfacing with work center monitors, logistics operation personnel, equipment sub-custodians, and equipment users.
  • Performing both Primary and Alternate Sub-Custodial duties may be required when permitted by AFRL and AF regulations and/or guidelines.
  • Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required.
  • Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in the aspects of technical supply management inventory, working with optical readers, updating computer and inventory files, and ensuring data integrity.
    • Experience in working with the Air Force supply and procurement system, an equipment maintenance data system, OR some type of equipment pool, and a working knowledge of Government supply regulations, policy, procedures, and supply nomenclature is desired.
  • A Class A Commercial Driver's License is required to support the movement of tractor-trailers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Background check with the ability to obtain Public Trust/NACI Clearance.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have the ability to utilize and operate sophisticated data processing equipment such as personal computers, printers, optical readers, and associated computer equipment, and be physically capable of lifting and moving lightweight equipment items.
  • Ability to complete work must be accomplished on both a scheduled and unscheduled basis.
  • Advanced working knowledge of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to pass customer security requirements is required.
  • Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as required.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to interact verbally and in writing with all levels of staff, government personnel, and management on a professional level.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
