I2X Technologies is seeking a DOORS Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret Clearance.

• Work under the direction of various technical Leads and interface with team members, management, and government customers to ensure high quality products are generated on time and within the resources available
• Communicate the desired component relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users; and generating system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities
• Responsibilities include:
  • integration of the product lines
  • generation of responsible sections of the capability specifications
  • DOORS processes and procedures
  • training less experienced personnel in SE techniques
  • reviewing the content and details of technical products
  • acting as a technical interface to government working level counterparts on an as required basis

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experienced. A Masters degree and 2 years of experience may be substituted.
• Active Secret clearance
• Ability to use DOORS tool as an experienced administrator
• Management of system and component baselines in a requirements management system
• Define the relationships between internal and external components
• Extensive DOORS scripting
• Experience improving DOORS database performance
• Ability to analyze high level needs, and through a structured and logical approach, develop requirements management schema and attributes
• Ablity to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings
• Ablity to implement engineering plans within a project
• Sufficient programming skills to be able to generate DXL scripts to provide manipulation of DOORS data

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
