As Sr. Facilities Operations Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of federal government facilities, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and contract requirements. This role leads facility teams, manages vendors, and supports mission-critical infrastructure while maintaining an efficient and functional environment for government personnel and operations.

What you'll do:
- You will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of federal government facilities in accordance with contract requirements.
- You will manage facility staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient service delivery and performance.
- You will coordinate with government stakeholders to support facility needs and address operational issues.
- You will track facility performance metrics and prepare reports for internal and government review.
- You will manage budgets, procurement activities, and resource allocation to meet contractual and operational goals.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You have an active Secret security clearance
- You have a bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- You have at least 10 years of experience managing facilities operations within a federal contracting environment.
- You have demonstrated ability to provide and maintain facilities that support administrative functions, hardware/software systems, and communication tools essential for Department of State and interagency coordination.
- You have experience overseeing site modifications and installations, including electrical outlets, HVAC systems, cabling, wireless internet, and general workspace infrastructure such as printers, shredders, and projectors.
- You have proven track record of managing physical maintenance services including housekeeping, utilities, furnishings, and office supplies in compliance with government standards and service level agreements.
- You have experience with/providing rapid (within two hours) on-call response to after-hours facility emergencies and ensure 24/7 operational readiness of government and contractor workspaces.
- You have a commitment to environmental sustainability, with experience implementing green facility practices, including the use of certified eco-friendly products and sustainable procurement strategies aligned with Department of State guidelines.
