One of our clients in Washington, D.C., needs a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Support Technician for a permanent position.

• Position Type: Permanent position
• Travel: Travel is required
• Clearance: Top Secret or above
Job Description:
iQuasar, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Support Technician to join our growing team. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category with relevant experience within the last 2 years. Work is highly independent, and typically reports to a manager or head of unit/department.
Responsibilities:
• Supports COR/ACOR in the pre, post, and closeout of contract files.
• Attend meetings with COR/ACOR regarding the designated contract. Maintains general cognizance of the contractor’s technical efforts and progress.
• Supports COR/ACOR in documenting issues in the COR/ACOR contract file to ensure mutual understanding. Provides support in maintaining the COR/ACOR file, documenting significant actions, and retaining copies of trip reports, correspondence, and reports or deliverables received under the contract.
• Supports COR in capturing correspondence with COR/ACOR and the contractor to include memoranda of any significant verbal discussions.
• Advises the COR/ACOR of any problems affecting the cost, schedule, or technical performance of the contract.
• Aids in the review and filing of invoices and the maintenance of burn charts. If the COR/ACOR is unavailable, will continue to perform these duties in support of the CO and their contract oversight duties.
Qualifications:
• Require 9-14 years of experience performing relevant actions specific to the labor category, with relevant experience within the last 2 years. Work is highly independent.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
