The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, bringing new flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. Reliance on any single capability - electronic attack, stealth, etc. - is not sufficient for success and survivability in the future. Missions traditionally performed by specialized aircraft - air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, electronic attack, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance - can now be executed by a squadron of F-35s.

Under the direction of the F-35 SAP Security Associate Manager, this roll will serve as an F-35 Personnel Security (PERSEC) Specialist providing support to the F-35 PERSEC Lead. This role will act as a liaison between government security customer(s) and Program management on security related matters to include Program Access Requests (PARs) processing, records management, visit authorization requests, Special Access Program (SAP) indoctrinations, and badging. This position will help ensure adherence to stringent security protocols and procedures while providing PERSEC support for multiple sensitive Special Programs.

Must have a working knowledge of the DoD Directive 5205.07 Manual related tasks.

Applicant selected must possess a Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to special program.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Have experience in DoD Special Programs with knowledge of the DoDM 5205.07 and some experience in Personnel Security.

Experience using Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Power Point and Excel.

Experience in interpreting procedural documentation and policy.

Experience providing briefings and trainings to large audiences.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree.

Have experience operating within JADE and DISS.

Be self-driven and results oriented, capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently and across an ambiguous and uncertain landscape.

Be highly organized and have advanced oral and written communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
