Job Description:
The Software Engineer will have experience working with a team of software and systems engineers working with customers to define, document, and implement requirements for a software (or software and hardware) solution, testing, deploying and maintaining that solution, and potentially working with end users to troubleshoot and solve issues with the released software.
The Level 0 Software Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Proficiency in Python
Experience using JavaScript or TypeScript
Strong testing skills
Must be comfortable working in Linux
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Experience developing unit tests to automate regression testing
• Strong understanding of data structures and multi-threaded processing
• Experience designing and implementing object-oriented solutions
• Experience and of the following technologies or products:
oDocker
oFlask
oApache Airflow
oHTML
oBootstrap
oUser Interface Design
oMongoDB
oMinio
oVSCode
• Experience with basic networking,
• Familiarity with various signals processing systems
• Basic understanding of modern telephony systems and cellular technologies
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
• Able to identify and anticipate needs of a user community, development staff, and integrated applications
Qualifications:
• No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
Pay Range: 124,000-174,000
