Synertex is seeking Cleared American Guards (CAGs) to provide security support for a government building in Arlington, VA.

Shifts Available:
Clearance Required: Active TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility
The Cleared American Guard is professionally trained to protect the security integrity of federal facilities, facilities located on military installations, commercially owned, federally occupied facilities and federal facilities under construction or renovation. Additionally, it is the CAGs responsibility to protect personnel, property, building materials, furniture, fixtures, information, and other Government Owned Equipment (GOE).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Shift 1: 0700-1500 (Mon-Fri)
- Shift 2: 0600-1400 (Mon-Fri)

The Cleared American Guard is professionally trained to protect the security integrity of federal facilities, facilities located on military installations, commercially owned, federally occupied facilities and federal facilities under construction or renovation. Additionally, it is the CAGs responsibility to protect personnel, property, building materials, furniture, fixtures, information, and other Government Owned Equipment (GOE).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CAGs will continuously occupy the visitor control centers and vetting stations at NSMA locations where visitor vetting and screening is conducted .
- M onitor the IDS, report on all computer stations, alarm notifications, acknowledge and record receiving notification and alarms . Reporting will be done in the IDS .
- Upon receipt of an alarm, will immediately notify response personnel, Federal Protective Services (FPS), base Police and/or military security forces will respond with an armed SCIF/SAP-F alarm response .
- Monitor the local CCTV system and immediately report any anomalies or malfunctions to the Security Management Office (SMO) provided at each location.
- Visitor Control functions/roles/responsibilities:
- Prepare lobby, vestibule, etc. in support of conferences held in the facility .
- Responsible for operating metal detectors, PED Screening and baggage devices.
- Safeguard government property and require the use of property passes.
- Direct personnel and visitors who have questions/concerns to the Security Management Office (SMO).
- Immediately notify the COR of any equipment malfunctions or other incidents impacting on-site systems that prohibit or hamper the performance of duties.
- Monitor Security Forces network on the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) system handheld radio .
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to perform duties protecting:
- Security integrity of federal and military facilities
- Government Owned Equipment (GOE), personnel, property, and information
- Experience or capacity to:
- Perform visitor control and screening of employees, visitors, and VIPs
- Conduct perimeter security checks after-hours
- Monitor and respond to security alarms (IDS system)
