Work will take place in Beaumont, Texas.
Normal hours for conducting business between the hours of 0800 to 1700, with personnel schedules staggered to allow for classroom availability between the hours of 0700 to 1800
Monday thru Friday except Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. Shift work may be required. Anticipated shift schedule is as follows:
Day Shift: 0800-1700
Swing Shift: 1530-0030
Midnight Shift: 2300-0800
In the event personnel assigned to this contract are required for early/late/weekend school retraining of students or needed for classroom observation the anticipated hours are:
Alternate Day Shift: 0630-1030 and 1500-1900
Alternate Swing Shift: 1300-1700 and 1900-2300
Alternate Midnight Shift: 2100-0100 and 0300-0700
Weekend Shift: 0830-1330 on Saturdays, with five (5) hours shifted from weekday work
These operating hours and days may vary based on the requirements of the agency. Personnel work schedules may be "flexed" to meet the training needs of the Cyber School for weekend and extended duty periods during regular training and exercises, while still adhering to the standard five-day work week. Overtime will not be authorized.

- Provides technical assistance as the IT Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on GATES Deployable Kits to approximately 65 SDDC local and remote users, including mission activities located at various locations specified by the Customer/COR.
- Support GATES 27 Deployable Kits. These GATES assets are staged for training or operational use. The GATES Deployable Kits are operational DGATES and Communication components, that when supplemented with unit Strategic Deployment Suite (SDS) equipment can supply an additional 27 fully mission capable GATES systems. When the SDS equipment is supplemented with a GATES Deployable Kit" it is identified as a Flyaway "System.
- Note: if operations personnel are working between 0530 - 2400, S6 842 personnel must be available to provide IT services support as well.
Required TaskS:
- Provide operationally, maintenance, imaging, and configuration to Personal Computers (PCs), Laptop computers, other hardware, WAN connections, Internet connectivity, maintenance of In-Transit Visibility (ITV) equipment, e-mail capability, or other voice and data communications, multimedia, and printer capability.
- Schedule, set up, operate, and troubleshoot secure and non-secure VTC facilities as the government requested. VTC support is required as early as 0430 and as late as 2030.
- Provide all touch maintenance to include vulnerability patching and software upgrades. Vulnerability and upgrade analysis requires a detailed understanding of the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scan reports provided from the NEC weekly.
- Limited Travel to various locations in support of training exercises when the GATES communication kit will be utilized.
- IA compliance for RGATES and DGATES (Patches and IAVA compliance).
- Network configuration of servers.
- Manage GATES firewalls.
- Provides GATES account management.
- Provides HHTI configuration manager installs on Workstations.
- Provides HHTI (scanner) software installation, configuration, and setup.
- Creates users' accounts when they receive a properly completed DD2875 when a user arrives.
- Unlocks GATES accounts when necessary and removes GATES accounts when an individual departs the organization.
- Ensures physical accountability and operational capability of all DSCEL
- Coordinate scheduling of TMT mission and the arrival of SDS
- Maintains the MESA2 baseline across 370 devices for all DSC
- Configures DSCEL equipment and SDS equipment to work as a system and mail equipment in time to meet the mission
- Establish necessary accounts for end-users to work on the equipment by receiving and processing the required
- Provides IT assistance in the management and configuration of GATES, and ICODES
- CAISI radio management.
- CAISI firewall configuration and management.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum five years' experience as IT Specialist (System/Network Administrator).
- Value-added subject matter expertise in water port operations and systems such as GATES, ICODES, and TCAIMS.
- Bachelor's Degree: Computer Information System or IT equivalent.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Capability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Possess and maintain all required training and certifications.
