Essential Functions
- Design, develop, and implement GNSS algorithms for high-precision applications.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for RTK, PPP, carrier phase processing, and carrier phase integer ambiguity resolution.
- Work with GNSS signals across multiple frequencies and constellations.
- Implement algorithms in real-time using modern C++ (C++17 or later) and/or Python.
- Contribute to the development of GNSS receivers, including software-defined implementations and ultra-tight coupling techniques.
- Tightly integrate observables from GNSS and military receivers (e.g., carrier phase, integrated Doppler, pseudorange) with other sensors using Bayesian estimators such as Extended Kalman Filters (EKF) and/or Factor Graphs.
- Utilize modern software engineering tools, including git, CMake, and CI/CD pipelines, to develop robust, maintainable software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GNSS solutions into larger systems.
- Perform other duties as required.

- Strong Understanding of GNSS signal processing techniques such as RTK, PPP, and carrier phase processing.
- Proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or later) and/or Python for real-time algorithm implementation.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, including version control (git), build systems (CMake), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of statistical estimation techniques and error modeling in GNSS applications.
- Familiarity with open source GNSS signal processing libraries such as GPSTk or RTKLIB.
Education / Certifications
- Master's or PhD (completed or currently enrolled) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, computer science or other relevant field
- 2+ years of experience in GNSS algorithm development and implementation preferred
- Experience with carrier phase integer ambiguity resolution.
- Experience in integrating GNSS observables with other sensor data using Bayesian estimation techniques.
- Experience with GNSS software receiver development and ultra-tight coupling.
- Experience with embedded systems or real-time processing environments.
- Experience developing filters that blend other sensors such as IMU, Visual, AHRS, etc.
Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
