CSCI is a Woman-Owned Small Business seeking an experienced, intricately motivated mid-level Task Security Officer (TSO) and Personnel Security Lead with a focus on Personnel Security who will provide "day-to-day" multi-discipline support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.
The mid-level TSO will manage the Program's Personnel Security Program by ensuring the official database is up to date, transitioning all personnel security information, DoD Personnel Accountability Reporting System (PAR) generation, tracking of PARs, and assistance with billet management.
The candidate must have a current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility and eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Training/Certifications:
Basic Information Security, Department of Defense Personnel Security Adjudicator Course, Marking Classified Information, Derivative Classification Course, Personnel Security for Customized Adjudication, and SPO.

Travel:
Local and Long Distant Travel Frequent (6-12 times a year).

Responsibilities
The candidate's responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Manage the Program's Personnel Security Program by ensuring the official database Security Information Management System (SIMS) is current.
- Offer effective oversight to billet managers and senior leadership by providing bi-weekly reports and maintaining 100% accountability of all billets.
- Assist with transitioning all personnel security information to JADE with processing and generating Program Access Request (PAR)
- Ensure program security paperwork is uploaded on time and all required documentation is on file per current policy and directive.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enforce security policies and procedures.
- As a certified Special Access Program Personnel Security Officer (SPO), you will provide quality control to Program Access Requests for PSOs' review.
- Assist with compliance inspections and security standardization training.
- Have working knowledge of the Project Office and the roles and responsibilities of teammates to provide continuity and enable the office to run seamlessly.
- Oversee tasks, with the priority of protecting people, places, information, and systems without negatively impacting cost, schedule, and performance.
- Interface with government agencies and security personnel to ensure compliance with clearance standards.
- Anticipate requirements and lead with recommended solutions. Understand the roles and missions of the customer and the individual team members.
Skills - Minimum of 5-8 Years Experience
Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- AA/AS or equivalent experience in a security or business-related field is required.
- 8 years of related experience required in the DoD environments.
- 3-5 years experience with SAPs within the DoD.
- Extensive knowledge of Special Access Programs.
- Certified Special Access Program Personnel Security Officer (SPO).
- Extensive Knowledge of JADS or JADS database.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems, including Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The employee must maintain clearance and eligibility throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working USN customers, but not required.
- B.A. or B.S. in a security or business-related field preferred.
