CSCI is a Woman-Owned Small Business seeking an experienced, intricately motivated Site Security Coordinator (SSC) to provide facility security, administrative, and operational support under the guidance and direction of the Mason Rapid Prototyping Research Center (RPRC) appointed Facility Security Officer (FSO) for three facilities. The SSO must know the applicable Government regulations, directives, instructions, manuals, and laws for Information Security, Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Assurance, OPSEC, compartmented environments, and Security Education and Training requirements to include public speaking/briefing skills. The SCC will support the Chief of Staff and Leadership in managing calendars, travel, and meeting coordination to support customer engagements and contractual obligations.
The candidate must have a current Secret Clearance.
This position is on-site, Monday-Friday in Springfield, VA.

Skills - Minimum of 10 Years Experience
Required Qualifications:
*Equivalent work experience to a B.A. or B.S. is an additional 6 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience Levels:
LEVEL1 - requires a minimum of 3 years related experience
LEVEL2- requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.
LEVEL 3 - requires a minimum of 8 years related experience.
LEVEL 4 - requires a minimum of 10 years related experience.
This position is considered a Level 4.
Training/Certifications:
DD254 Form Short, Derivative Classification, Insider Threat Awareness, Insider Threat Program Personnel PII Training, Introduction to Industrial Security, Introduction to Information Security, Introduction to Physical Security, Introduction To Personnel Security, Introduction To The National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Certification and Accreditation Process, Introduction To The Risk Management Framework, Marking Classified Information, Personnel Clearances in the NISP, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Physical Security Measures and completion of FSO curriculum.

Responsibilities
The Site Security Coordinator (SSC) primary security and administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Key Security Responsibilities:
- Acts as the main point of contact for security coordination or scheduling-related inquiries and changes, facilitating communication and collaboration,
- Ensure the effective delivery of security services, including Visitor Access Requests (VARs), SCI security policies, and IT support, under various DD-254s,
- Assists the Principal Investigators of other DoD contracts partner/agencies, ensuring proper alignment with security objectives,
- Facilitates the timely exchange of security-related information and coordinates security coverage for member-related events, monitoring for potential disruptions or security concerns,
- Ensure the accurate maintenance of Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM),
- Maintains situational awareness of all security programs related to DoD efforts, including threat mitigation and operational security,
- Provides education and training to new team members and staff on DoD security policies and procedures,
- Utilizes technology solutions, such as databases, to monitor and track the implementation of security programs,
- Supports the CSSO and ACSSO, and
- Provide support as a back-to FSO or AFSO (as required).
- Key Security Responsibilities:

- Coordinate client-facing meetings, prepare agendas, manage calendar invites, and follow up on action items,
- Track and update project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time,
- Maintain accurate records of all schedules, cancellations, and changes to appointments,
- Assist with purchase orders and invoices to ensure adherence to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) compliance requirements,
- Manages program enrollment requests for new team members, overseeing security operations and ensuring compliance with established client protocols,
- Builds strong working relationships with Mason staff and directs them to appropriate resources as needed,
- Provides regular updates to client leadership regarding security program developments and challenges,
- Offers on-call support, with the potential requirement to return to the duty station or work remotely during off-hours, particularly during crises, or to assess and respond to received threats, ensuring the implementation of required security procedures.
- Key Administrative Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Current Secret Clearance with the ability to be eventually be cleared to Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- B.A. or B.S. in a security or business-related field is required or equivalent experience*.
- 10 years of related experience required in the DoD environments.
- Completion of FSO curriculum.
- Extensive knowledge of DISS.
- Knowledge in Personnel Security.
- Solid understanding of the Security Education and Awareness requirements across DoD and SCI program.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Expert experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems, including Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The employee must maintain clearance and eligibility throughout employment.
- Working onsite Monday - Friday.

- M.A. or M.S. in a business-related field preferred.
