About The Role

Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Training Manager to support a service desk environment. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and tracking the training of all individuals on a large program. Ensuring all personnel are trained and knowledgeable of all appropriate policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and exceptional organizational skills. This role is perfect for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic IT service desk environment and is committed to the team's success.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance a training curriculum for all personnel on the program to ensure all are initially trained to the same level.
  • Develop, maintain and track individual training plans to ensure all personnel are trained in the latest updates for their respective work area.
  • Work with the functional area leads to update training documentation on a periodic basis
  • Align training content with ITIL best practices, conduct regular audits, and eliminate outdated or inaccurate information
  • Collaborate with service desk analysts, IT teams, and customer personnel to capture critical knowledge and refine training materials
  • Provide training and guidance to service desk staff on knowledge resource utilization

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
  • BA/BS 6+ years in knowledge management, ITSM, or related fields
  • Three or more years' experience training and coaching staff
  • Strong communication: Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly content
  • Attention to detail: Ensure clarity and accuracy in documentation
  • Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to navigate evolving IT environments and proactively address knowledge gaps that would require building new training materials

SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range

Details

Target Salary Range: $86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
