Program Overview
About The Role
Systems Engineer supports a highly dynamic and growing program with US Government customer. Part of a large multi-year contract that supports customer in systems engineering and integration across a broad portfolio of projects. Role focuses on the development, deployment and data distribution for a widely deployed intelligence collection system. Experience in managing a system through the full lifecycle - from concept to disposal. Significant exposure to operations and maintenance of systems will be critical, as well as the problem-solving skills required to manage the logistics of a widely deployed system.
General Responsibilities:
• Primary point of contact for system deployments and operations and maintenance.
• Work closely with system developers on system enhancements, fixes and long-term maintenance.
• Work closely with system operators to ensure mission continuity and maximum capability.
• Oversee system inventory, unit swap out, preparations for shipment/deployment, software maintenance.
• Primary point of contact for system data output and delivery and data formatting.
• Support the customer in evaluating developer technical performance.

Target Salary Range: $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with poly
- Experience with SIGINT system design.
- Ability to work independently and act as the customer's representative with developers and outside organizations.
- Experience with the full system development lifecycle.
- Exposure to data analysis and enterprise data systems.
- Experience with terrestrial communications, data circuits and general networking.
