ServiceNow Developer

Marathon TS is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of progressive experience in enterprise IT environments, with a proven ability to deliver scalable and efficient ServiceNow solutions along with AWS experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement customized ServiceNow solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
  
• Lead complex ServiceNow implementations and upgrades, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  
• Integrate ServiceNow with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
  
• Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external systems.
  
• Collaborate with ITSM, DevOps, and Cloud teams to optimize infrastructure and automate processes.
  
• Create and maintain documentation for customizations, configurations, and integrations.
  
• Provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
  
• Ensure all solutions comply with security, performance, and best-practice standards.
  

Required Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in ServiceNow development.
  
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules (ITSM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, etc.), and scripting (JavaScript, Glide).
  
• Experience working with AWS cloud services and building integrations between ServiceNow and AWS.
  
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, and JSON/XML data formats.
  
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) - required.
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Solutions Architect).
  
• Experience with ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM (ITOM, SecOps, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps toolchains.
  
• Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
