Astrion is seeking a Digital Infrastructure (DI) Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force’s 45th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL, as part of the TMAS II contract under the 96th Cyberspace Test Group (CTG). This is your opportunity to contribute to a national mission that integrates advanced digital systems to protect and empower the United States military across land, air, space, and cyberspace.
As part of this elite team, you’ll help advance the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS)—a cornerstone of the Air Force’s next-generation command and control. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge digital infrastructure, applying systems engineering expertise to help secure and manage the most valuable assets of our nation: its people, its information, and its strategic capabilities.

What You’ll Do
• Provide systems engineering support to the U.S. Air Force's ABMS Digital Infrastructure.
• Lead and support core areas such as Data Management, Secure Processing, and Connectivity.
• Integrate applications, sensors, and effects into a seamless C4ISR digital network.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to enhance system design, integration, and evaluation.
• Define system requirements, performance metrics, and test criteria in coordination with military stakeholders.
• Configure data interfaces and support testing across multiple phases: DT&E, OT, RRT, and FDE.
• Conduct data analysis, develop test documentation, and ensure systems are mission-ready and secure.
What You Bring
• Active Secret Clearance (must be able to obtain/maintain TS/SCI)
• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of relevant technical experience (Additional experience can substitute for degree)
• Working knowledge of systems engineering principles
• Experience in at least one of the following:
◦ System software and scripting development
◦ Software design, development, or integration
◦ System analysis and test
• Ability to obtain DoD 8140/8570 cybersecurity certifications
