The Database Administrator will help maintain databases and database infrastructure across multiple sites. This involves providing support to users and developers, monitoring system performance, security, configurations, and improving operations. Additionally, the Database subcontractor will understand Azure Cloud Storage to support the Azure data storage and analytics efforts as well as Oracle and Linux database administration
The following list of core requirements are the minimum skills required for the position, with the additional requirements preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
•Provide administrative database support by proactively ensuring production databases and underlying infrastructure are secure, running properly, and are responsive.
•Maintain recurring operational rhythm for backups, disaster recovery, resource utilization, and other operational tasks.
•Install and configure a self-hosted integration runtime.
•Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six (6) years relevant DBA experience, or Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of four years relevant DBA experience.
Qualifications:
Experience with the following:
➢Oracle and SQL Server Administration
➢Data migrations and refreshes
➢ETL Methodologies
➢Smartcard/Kerberos authentication
➢KVM Administration
➢Linux Administration (RHEL8, Oracle OS)
➢HPE Server Administration
➢Ansible Scripting
➢Vulnerability management
➢Patching and upgrading
•Existing knowledge and experience with FedRAMP or FedRAMP+.
•Ability to write and speak clearly and concisely about technical topics.
