Position Description:
Main Functions
Contribute to support and maintenance activities of the squad responsible for actuarial calculations and risk management within the IT team focused on actuarial and compliance systems.
Focus on the following applications:
Mainly CIRIS
PROPHET (packaged solution) and its ecosystem (in-house developed tools, managed platform)
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Background Support and Maintenance:
Ensure the proper functioning, maintainability, and scalability of applications
Provide technical support to users
Monitor and handle incidents in compliance with application-level and internal service level agreements
Contribute to the relationship with the platforms operators (incidents, requests)
Coordinate and ensure the processing and resolution of maintenance requests
Coordinate and ensure the successful implementation of technical changes
Contribute to platform testing activities
Contribute to the update of operational deliverables (e.g. reference documents, knowledge base)
Define non-regression and technical test cases and ensure test execution
Evolutions:
Challenge business requests and evaluate technical impacts for users
Define the technical solution to be implemented
Lead the solution implementation (technical lead, development, coordination, planning, validation)
Prepare or update relevant documentation
Transversal:
Contribute to communication of ongoing activities
Support continuous improvement in efficiency and knowledge sharing
Report regularly to the designated team lead and product owner
Ensure compliance with engineering rules and security standards
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Technical Skills:
Infrastructure:
Network (Windows/Linux)
Server (Windows/Linux)
Virtual machine (VMware)
Cloud platforms such as Azure or IBM Cloud (advanced level)
Development & Tools:
Excel and VBA (practical level)
.NET development (optional, basic knowledge)
Java development (mandatory, intermediate level)
ETL tools such as Informatica (mandatory, intermediate level)
SQL / T-SQL (practical level)
Transversal Skills:
Experience working with Agile methodologies
Practical knowledge of ITIL
Soft Skills:
Strong client orientation and service mindset
Autonomy and initiative
Adaptability
Teamwork and collaboration
Languages:
French B2 (Upper Intermediate)
English B2 (Upper Intermediate)
Tools:
ServiceNow (practical level)
Jira (practical level)

Must be physically in Portugal, and a work at the office 3/5 days a week
