Piper Companies is seeking a Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance for a growing organization located in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance is a hybrid position working onsite in Raleigh a couple days a week. Responsibilities for the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance include:
- Serve as the primary architect for all Splunk-related solutions.
- Design and implement Splunk infrastructure, including data ingestion, indexing, and visualization.
- Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within the business, IT, and Engineering to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of Splunk deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements for the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance include:
- Active Secret Security Clearance (Must be eligible to work in the United States)
- Over 5 years of professional experience in Splunk architecture and administration.
- Strong background in designing and implementing Splunk solutions, including data ingestion, indexing, and visualization.
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant work experience.
Compensation of the Splunk Engineer - Secret Clearance:
- $130,000 - $145,000 annually
- FTE position, Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
