Knowledge Manager

***This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to obtain a counterintelligence polygraph ***

Cherokee Analytics is seeking an exceptionally qualified Knowledge Manager to support the Defense Intelligence Agency. The Knowledge Manager will perform information management functions and provide knowledge management support to enable information sharing among analysts and organizations by shaping workflows and processes.

Knowledge Manager Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production
  • Use centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes
  • Compile reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings
  • Disseminate intelligence products across separate networks and portals
  • Provide knowledge management support to enable information sharing among analysts and organizations by shaping workflow / processes
  • Use Government-furnished, centralized, and peripheral databases / records management systems and provide reports on performance / usage metrics
  • Post, edit, distribute, and maintain appropriate content on classified and unclassified website / portals
  • Organize data, establish file structures, and ensure information is captured and stored in locations accessible to authorized users
  • Ensure proper security protocols are used to protect classified, proprietary, and personally-identifiable information
  • Use various Government-furnished systems and programs such as Microsoft (MS) SharePoint to search, discover, store, and retrieve data
  • Use Government-furnished tools to build, update, and maintain databases which could be used to produce stand-alone products and / or used to support all source analytic production
  • Develop metrics from designated databases or data sets and prepare reports and presentations with the metrics
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Knowledge Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Active TS/SCI with willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence polygraph
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
  • Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences related to the Knowledge Manager role
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence
  • Ability to work with teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
