Description:Final DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance,
Lockheed Martin Space (LMS) is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist / Alternate Information System Security Manager (ISSM) supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5LE2 program. This position is located in Cape Canaveral, FL.
The selected candidate will be responsible for leading cybersecurity operations for the D5LE2 program, which will include developing cybersecurity requirements, generating information system authorization packages, implementing cybersecurity controls, and performing continuous monitoring efforts through the lifecycle of each information system within the program.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Oversee day-to-day information system security operations including hardware, and software implementations and RMF package authorizations.
• Implement and enforce Information Security Policies and Procedures.
• Carry out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements, primarily Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Participate in internal/external security audits/inspections; performs risk assessments.
• Ensure records are maintained for workstations, software, servers, routers, firewalls, network switches, telephony equipment, etc. throughout the information system's life cycle.
• Ensure configuration management (CM) for security relevant IS software, hardware, and firmware is maintained and documented.
• Implementing a continuous monitoring program.
• Document compliance actions within the approved automated compliance tracking system or develop a plan of actions and milestones (POA&M) with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame.
• Assess and drive mitigation efforts of system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
• Final DoD Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 IAT Level III certification (e.g.CISSP).
• Experience leveraging security tools such as Splunk, Nessus, Trellix, Ivanti, ACAS etc.
• Experience with Authorization and Accreditation processes using Risk Management Framework methodologies.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including providing updates to senior leadership.
Desired Skills:
• Active TS Clearance.
• Demonstrated professional experience supporting Cybersecurity Engineering (CSSE) activities.
• DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 IASAE Level III certification (e.g. CISSP-ISSEP).
• Experience as an ISSO, ISSM, or related DoD Cyber Workforce Role.
• Experience with developing requirements for DoD weapons systems.
• Experience with the Fleet Ballistic Missile program or Strategic Systems Programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 9 years of relevant work experience or a master's degree and 7 years of relevant work experience

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
