Our Integrated Warfare Systems Group comprises more than 100 staff that provide program and project management, systems and digital engineering, software, test & evaluation, product support, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT support to more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects in the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and customers in Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the Navy's Team Submarine Office. #FC
Responsibilities
We are seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department (B).
Candidate will support the test, evaluation & integration (TE&I) efforts of Navy electromagnetic and sensor systems. Candidate must have electromagnetic environment effects (E3) engineering knowledge to include: electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI), EMI/EMC testing & analysis, use of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
Day to Day role:
Support the testing and integration of fielded, in-service shipboard sensors & systems. Focus is on Electromagnetic Compatibility of the system with other shipboard sensors & systems.
Candidate must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren 5 days per week on average with some travel expected (up to 15%).

- Characterize EMI/EMC issues of fielded systems & field fixes
- Identify EMC vulnerabilities of the systems being tested
- Test planning, test procedure development, test execution, analyze test data, create test reports, brief results to leadership
- Considered a "hands-on" role

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Active or interim Secret DoD clearance
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge with electromagnetic environment effects (E3) engineering to include: electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electromagnetic interference (EMI), EMI/EMC testing & analysis, use of Radio Frequency (RF) equipment.
- Ability to work onsite, up to full time, depending upon client needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with test, evaluation, and integration (TE&I) of Navy RF sensors and systems
- Experience in areas of Electrical Engineering, E3, EMI, and/or EMC
