What You'll Do
You will be a crucial source of stability for military families in times of transition and need.
- Provide Critical Support: Deliver short-term, in-person, non-medical counseling to service members and adult family members.
- Address Key Challenges: Help individuals and families navigate deployment transitions, marital concerns, parenting, stress, grief, and reintegration.
- Empower Through Education: Conduct vital behavioral health trainings and presentations in collaboration with installation leadership.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with local military Points of Contact (POCs) to ensure services align with community needs and contract standards.
- Uphold Excellence: Maintain professional, confidential documentation per DoD and program requirements.

Requirements
- We are seeking dedicated professionals ready to answer the call.
- Master's degree in a behavioral health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Psychology).
- An active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state.
- Eligible license types include: LCSW/LICSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, and LMHC.
- Please note: LMSW, LADC, or supervised/associate-level license types are NOT eligible.
- A deep understanding of military culture and family dynamics.
- The ability to work independently and provide structured, non-medical interventions.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
- Must pass federal and installation-specific background/suitability screenings.
- Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting military service members and their families.
- Familiarity with DoD programs or previous MFLC work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
