Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to fill a critical gap in our nationwide behavioral health team. We are expanding rapidly to provide vital mental health support to federal wildland firefighters and dispatchers who protect our lands and communities. This is an urgent need for a hybrid role (in-person and/or virtual) throughout the state of Alabama.

About the Role:
This isn't just a job; it's a mission. As a Licensed Mental Health Clinician, you will be a lifeline for first responders, providing specialized, trauma-informed care that goes beyond traditional therapy. You will empower them to navigate the intense emotional and psychological challenges of their high-stress roles, building resilience and ensuring they can continue their heroic work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and critical support during emergencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and craft evidence-based, life-changing treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual therapy (in-person and/or virtual) addressing a range of issues from trauma and PTSD to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
  • Join a pioneering team dedicated to collaborating with government stakeholders to innovate and elevate behavioral health and wellness services.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and security for client records, ensuring compliance with all federal standards.

Qualifications:
We're looking for more than just a resume-we're looking for a dedicated partner.

  • Master's or Doctorate in a mental health field.
  • Active and independent licensure in the state of Alabama, as a:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker
    • Licensed Professional Counselor
    • Licensed Marital Family Therapist
    • Licensed Psychologist
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing direct clinical care.
  • Proven expertise in trauma-informed care and a deep understanding of the first responder community.
  • Flexibility to provide both in-person and virtual services as needed to meet the unique demands of this population.
  • Specialized training or experience with first responders and trauma-focused modalities (e.g., EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy) is strongly preferred.

A firm willingness to attend an orientation and refresher training on wildland firefighter culture.
