Your Mission
This is not a traditional on-call position. You will serve as the primary behavioral health point of contact for DHS leadership on-site, providing expert guidance and clinical support across day, night, and weekend shifts as needed. Your Mission

You will serve as the primary behavioral health point of contact for DHS leadership on-site, providing expert guidance and clinical support across day, night, and weekend shifts as needed. Your core mission is to be the anchor that ensures consistent, high-quality care is delivered when it matters most.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide Immediate Leadership: Step in to supervise and provide expert clinical guidance to a team of Child Well-Being Specialists.
- Be the Primary Liaison: Serve as the crucial link between your on-site team, CBP leadership, DHS headquarters, and internal program teams.
- Ensure Timely Care: Advise on complex child well-being cases and make critical clinical decisions to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Strategic Coordination: Coordinate staffing allocations and deploy surge support when required to meet evolving needs.
- Shape Program Excellence: Engage with federal and local agencies to enhance care coordination and contribute to policy updates and system-level process improvements.
- Mentor the Next Generation: Oversee training, coaching, and performance reviews for team members.
Schedule & Shift Details
This on-call position offers unmatched flexibility while providing a critical service.
- Daily Commitment: A flexible structure of 8 hours onsite + 4 hours on-call (as needed) to provide surge leadership coverage.
- Availability: Shifts may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Essential Response: You must be available to return onsite during your on-call hours if a critical situation requires your leadership.
Requirements
We are seeking a true leader who thrives under pressure and is ready to make a difference.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field.
- An active, unrestricted license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- A minimum of 5 years of post-licensure experience with a strong background in:
- Child development.
- Trauma-informed care.
- Clinical evaluation.
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or social services setting.
- Exceptional team leadership and communication skills.
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred (minimum ILR 3/5 or equivalent).
- The ability to operate effectively in dynamic, fast-paced, and high-stakes environments.
