Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aerospace Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

In this unarmed patrol role within the aerospace and defense sector, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence will contribute to a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service and communication. As part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, you will engage with individuals in a professional manner, reflecting our commitment to integrity and teamwork. This position requires individuals who are 21 years or older and possess an active DoD Secret Clearance, with CPR certification being preferred.

Pay Rate: $21.31 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
