BAE Systems FAST Labs RF/Cyber organization is in pursuit of a Senior Software Product Manager to lead our development of cutting-edge embedded software applications for DoD applications. In this role, the individual will collaboratively develop the vision and product roadmap for our RF/cyber applications, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, ES business areas, and external customers. This role is an opportunity to shape and guide development of innovative, game-changing applications, working with a team of world class scientists and engineers to solve the hardest problems we can find.
As Product Manager for embedded RF/cyber applications, this individual will lead creation and execution of the product strategy, developing the vision for capabilities and turning that vision into reality. The successful applicant will be a motivated, entrepreneurial leader with experience in developing, deploying and supporting software products and working with an impact-focused internal and external customer base to bring these applications to the field. They will have strong technical acumen, customer management, leadership and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be a leader that can balance both the technical and business needs with the leadership needs of the team focusing on developing talent, inspiring others, communicating and collaborating across diverse teams.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $169630 - $288370
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Develop product roadmaps and refine the product vision in alignment with company goals and user needs, bringing a
- Engage with stakeholders across cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Manage the workflow and resources of developing multiple products within the portfolio, while tailoring agile practices to fit the team's unique project requirements.
- Leverage your knowledge of digital signal processing, embedded systems, and software product development approaches to drive the creation of innovative solutions.
- Organize and lead the team to deliver game-changing capabilities while navigating and managing the inherent complexities of our projects.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP clearances
- Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience in software product development, fielding, and sustainment/upgrades.
- Experience with formulating a product/portfolio strategy for a motivated but diverse user community and implementing action plans to achieve goals
- An agile mindset with the ability to adapt processes to meet the unique needs of the team and projects.
- Exceptional organizational skills and proficiency in managing complex software development projects.
- Experience collaborating across functions responsible for product development including engineering and program management
- Strong Business Acumen and presence at the leadership level
- Highly tuned interpersonal skills: Skilled at influencing and shaping others' behavior and performance
- Familiar with tools for configuration management, issue tracking, and deployment of software applications across multiple stakeholders
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Hands-on experience with digital signal processing, embedded systems, and development of software products for constrained processing environments
- Practical understanding of product development and the DoD product development lifecycle.
- Experience implementing development process updates to improve efficiency and effectiveness in a highly regulated product environment
- Experience and demonstrated success in capture of DoD development opportunities.
- Experience with resource planning, staff development and management reporting.
- Experienced in reviewing and approving scoping and costing work scope and developing proposals including assessment of associated risks and opportunities, applicability to the near-mid-long term group strategy, and relevancy to transition partners
