Nightwing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a team managing several applications within a Scrum Agile environment. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on manual testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Experience in test automation is a plus but not mandatory. The Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining software quality by identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with the development team.

Nightwing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a team managing several applications within a Scrum Agile environment. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on manual testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Experience in test automation is a plus but not mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using designated tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in Scrum Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage aligns with user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Provide detailed reports on testing progress, results, and defect resolution.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test documentation, including user guides and test scripts.
- Support efforts to implement and utilize test automation tools, as applicable.
- Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance software quality.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile development practices.
- Ability to manage multiple applications and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Test automation experience is a plus (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for documenting and discussing findings.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
