Responsibilities of the PaaS Lead include:
- Oversee the build and design of a scalable PaaS environment on a RHEL and OpenShift Container Platform
- Streamline and optimize the platform by automating scripts and tools
- Implement security measures and conduct cybersecurity assessments
- Work with DevOps teams and IT professionals to integrate cloud solutions effectively
Qualifications of the PaaS Lead include:
- 10+ years of experience in cloud programming and optimizing
- OpenShift experience - Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA,)
- Experience with VMware, vCenter, Kickstart, Puppet, Foreman, and CIS-CIT
- Experience with DevOps tools, implementing Infrastructure as Code within RHEL containers
- Proficient with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, IBM NetCool and Solarwinds
- Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Active secret clearance
Compensation for the PaaS Lead includes:
- Salary Range: $ $160,000-170,000 **depending on experience**
