What You Will Do
Lead FRB/MRB Activities: Independently drive Failure Review Board (FRB) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities to closure, ensuring all findings are addressed and resolved efficiently.
Generate and Present Metrics: Generate relevant quality metrics (e.g., First Article Inspection reports, non-conformance reports) and present findings to both internal teams and external customers.
Project Management: Manage complex quality-related projects, including the delegation of work and review of work products to ensure timely and successful completion.
Communication & Coordination: Communicate effectively within and outside your own function, ensuring that stakeholders (both internal and external) are kept informed on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Continuous Improvement Focus: Responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, including the execution of the Zero-Defect Plan (ZDP). Work alongside Program Management, IPTs (Integrated Product Teams), and Quality Leadership to report status and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with other functions (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing) to achieve efficient resolution of issues without compromising on quality standards.
First Article Inspection (FAI): Conduct First Article Inspections, ensuring that all specifications and standards are met and providing final reports to customers for approval.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience managing complex projects, including delegating tasks and reviewing work products.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external parties such as customers and vendors.
Experience in driving Zero Defect Plan (ZDP) execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to work with Program Management, IPTs, and Quality Leadership to report progress, status updates, and process improvements.
First Article Inspection (FAI) experience, including ensuring that all specifications are met and creating final reports for customer review.
Qualifications We Prefer
Program Management Experience: Previous experience in managing programs or large-scale projects with a focus on quality and process optimization.
Knowledge of Agile PLM (Product Lifecycle Management): Familiarity with Agile or other PLM systems is a plus.
