Business Development Director, Gaming Solutions
Location: On site and Remote
Description:
Seeking a Business Development Director to lead business development efforts in the Gaming Solutions business segment. The selected candidate will have a strong understanding of the Federal and DoD markets and have the skills required to identify viable opportunities, engage with customers, and develop technically compliant and compelling business solutions. To be successful, the candidate will have a firm understanding of HigherEchelon's core capabilities-while the candidate's portfolio is specifically in Gaming Solutions, we seek someone who is able to recognize cross-division opportunities. The successful candidate will be able to work well in a dynamic, small business environment, and will have the ability to develop and foster high level relationships with customers and partners, as well as navigate the intricate web of teaming beyond them.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership experience in business development, sales, or marketing; the ability to perform well under pressure, possess a can-do attitude and the ability to solve complex problems. The successful candidate must have business development and capture experience, be detail oriented, people focused, and thrive on developing winning solutions, as well as possessing a commitment and willingness to help grow our business.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Track and report on the status of proposal components
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Work with the pricing department to create rate proposals
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Coordinate with market research and divisional teams and identify business requirements
• Assemble all presentation materials and maintain all business development materials
• Ensure compliance to all database requirements and company standards
• Analyze business requirements and develop long-term and short-term strategies
Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong business development and capture ability
• Ability to communicate the organization's vision and mission to external audiences
• Ability to find and cultivate new relationships
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure
• Good private and public sector client prospects and relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Sales and / or business development experience
• Experience with Federal government contracting
• Proven success record of winning contracts, either individually or as part of a team
• Experience with business development, capture, or proposal development for Federal government clients
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge or experience in the development or selling of Serious Games, Educational Games, or Virtual Trainers.
• Experience pursuing and winning "quick-turn" task orders under a multi-award IDIQ
• Experience leading Federal contract business development and capture efforts
• Experience in writing and leading proposals
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering, or similar area
• 5+ years of relevant experience
